Price and payment methods
Our prices are quoted in Swedish kronor (SEK) excluding VAT.
Invoice
At Gigant.se, we only sell to companies and you can then pay by invoice. When applying for an invoice, a customary credit check is made, which may mean that we require advance payment. The invoice must be paid within 30 days and sent separately from the shipment to the registered invoice address. If the invoice is paid after the due date, penalty interest is charged at currently 1.5% per month.
Delivery time & shipping cost
Our normal delivery time on stocked Products is approximately 3-5 working days after receipt and confirmation of order. Delivery takes place on weekdays 7-16 and cannot be made to box addresses but only to physical addresses. Delivery is made with the transport company contracted by us. We apply Incoterms 2020, our shipping terms follow Delivery at place (DAP). The shipping cost is based on the total weight of the order or the freight weight for bulky goods.
For order values below SEK 6,000 net, within Sweden, a freight charge of 8% of the order value will be added, but at least SEK 200 per shipment. For order goods and procurement, a shipping cost of 8% of the order value is always charged. Cost for pallet and packaging may be added. We charge a minimum freight of SEK 200.

Delivery
When your shipment leaves our central warehouse or our supplier, we will send a confirmation to your email address. In the confirmation, you will receive a link where you can see the status of your order, where you can then easily follow your shipment. If Gigant's carrier is unable to deliver due to obstacles at the customer, the delivery will go back to the carrier and they will contact you to agree on a new delivery date. At this point, a new delivery cost will be charged.
Transport damage & misdelivery
If the product has been damaged during transportation, i.e. hidden damage, it must be reported immediately to our Customer Service, but no later than 3 days after receipt of the shipment. When notifying us, we need a picture of the damage both on the packaging and on the product. An order that is incorrectly shipped needs to be reported as soon as possible to our Customer Service.
Return
When returning, you as a customer bear the risk if the product is damaged when it is shipped back to us, so make sure that the product is properly packed in its original packaging. When returning, we recommend that you use transport packaging to provide extra protection for the product. The product must be complete, which means that all accessories, instructions for use, etc. must be included in the return.

Warranty & complaints
Gigant's goal is, and has always been, that you should feel safe with your product choices with us. The supplier is responsible for defects that appear one (1) year after delivery. In the range we have Products where the manufacturer provides a longer warranty, of course we offer you the same conditions on these Products. The warranty applies to functional and manufacturing defects that occur during the warranty period. The warranty does not apply to defects that occur as a result of normal wear and tear or after a change in the function and appearance of the product.
Personal data & Marketing
When you shop with us, you provide personal information such as name, address, email address, phone number. We need this information to be able to deliver goods to you, but also for handling warranty cases. We, Gigant AB 556588-2916, are the data controller and process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act (1998:204). The data may be processed by us or by one of our partners. The purpose of this processing is to be able to fulfill our commitments to you as a customer and inform you about offers. Personal data is also processed within the framework of market and customer analyses, which form the basis for marketing, method and business development, and to fulfill what is required of us by law. By accepting our terms and conditions, you agree to be contacted by us for marketing purposes. Contact may be made via email, SMS, postal or digital mailings or by other means.
Gigant strives to offer you as a customer better and more personalized offers. This means that we may use specific criteria as a basis for marketing, such as purchase size, purchase frequency, purchase of a certain range or product, purchase in a certain sales channel, etc. We may also supplement customer data in order to provide good customer care. In order to maintain a good level of service to you as a customer, we document all customer communication. You have the right to access this information on request. If the information turns out to be incorrect, incomplete or otherwise irrelevant, we are obliged to take corrective action.
