The cabinets are ventilated through the roof vent, which is equipped with a fire valve underneath. The ventilation must always be turned on. The cabinets are supplied with two fire alarms that are activated in the event of smoke, a sharp rise in temperature, and when the temperature in the cabinet exceeds 54°C. The external alarm is supplied loose in the cabinet for optional placement, while the internal alarm is mounted on the cabinet's ceiling.
The cabinet is made of heavy-duty sheet steel and is a sandwich construction with intermediate fire insulation (fire insulation material according to Euroclass A1). A latch is welded to the inside of the doors on the hinge side. This is to make it difficult to break open by removing the hinges. The doors are fitted with a reinforcing profile which, when the doors are closed, rests against the shelves , partly to prevent the doors from being wrapped and partly to protect the espagnolette lock. Ventilated through the roof support, which is fitted with a fire valve underneath. Ventilation must always be switched on.
